Official Terms & Conditions

ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY

• NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN.

• You must be an individual legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and the older of 18 years of age.

• Monday through Wednesday: Each person may submit one entry per day, following the instructions in the daily prompt. The prompt will specify which platform to use. Posts on other platforms will not count as valid entries.

• Thursday: Each person may earn up to two entries by posting the same prompt on both Facebook and Instagram.

• To participate, review the web page for this promotion (TBD, need to discuss with Devin) and follow the instructions to enter.

• The promotion runs on July 21, July 22, July 23, and July 24 at CS Summer of Fun. Note that there is no challenge on Friday, July 25, 2025. Each promotion begins at 1:00 AM and ends at 11:59 PM the same day.

• The prize consists of one (1) Visa gift card given out each of those four days.

• Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for each prompt.

• Participants are eligible to win one (1) prize of a $250 Visa gift card out of the four (4) opportunities to win throughout the week. Once a participant has won a prize, they will not be entered to win even if they continue to participate in the challenge.

• Event organizers, sponsors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. This includes Husson University, Maine Mathematics & Science Alliance (MMSA), Educate Maine, and code.org.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

• Winners will be notified within one (1) day of each prompt and there will be one (1) winner randomly selected for each prompt.

• Winners will be notified directly and be handed a $250 gift card by MMSA staff.

• MMSA is not responsible for any late, lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, or undelivered prizes.

• Each prize will be awarded "as is" and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, and MMSA may substitute a prize with a prize of similar or greater value.

• MMSA reserves the right to modify or cancel this promotion at any time.

• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

• By entering the promotion, you agree that MMSA will have no liability, and will be held harmless from and against any liability or loss, including reasonable attorney's fees and costs, for all matters related to your acceptance, possession, experience with, use or misuse of the prize or participation in the promotion.

• By entering the promotion, participants grant an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to MMSA and its affiliates to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, publish and create derivative works of any content that they provide, make available, or upload to a social media platform in connection with this promotion.

• By entering the promotion, participants represent and warrant that they own all rights, including all intellectual property rights, to all content they have submitted as part of their entry.

• All information submitted in connection with the promotion will be used and treated in accordance with MMSA’s Privacy Policy.
